Friday, February 26, 2016

Please join the Glenview Women’s Club at the Winter Ball for a Kentucky Derby inspired evening!

The night will begin at 8pm at the legendary Union League Club. Our evening includes an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and dance music by the amazing Gentlemen of Leisure Band! Black tie attire is preferred.

The price is $125 per person inclusive, and a significant portion will benefit GWC! Many thanks to our Special Events Co-Chair Linda Bottomlee for providing this opportunity for an elegant, fun and philanthropic evening at her club.

Be sure to reply in the comments section if you are interested in round trip transportation from Glenview. We are potentially securing a party bus based on your interest. The cost will be approximately $25-30 per person. The bus will leave Wildfire at 7pm & leave ULC at 12:15am returning to Wildfire. Availability will be based on participation and pre-payment instructions will follow.

Pre-party option ~ Todd and Tamara Holmes have offered to host a cocktail hour from 7-8pm at their condo for those who will be downtown already or are arranging their own transportation. The address is 310 E Jackson, Apt 1405.

Ladies bid on gifts and monies raised will go to our general fund. This is not a white elephant, so be creative with a usable gift. History shows the prettier the wrapping, the higher the bidding!

It is going to be a terrific night to celebrate with old and new friends, as well as a chance to get to know each other better. I hope you call can make it! There may be a little dancing too!
